6 young people from the "Passe Décisive" program discover the hospitality jobs

This Monday 1er February 6 young people with varied profiles and accompanied within the framework of the "Passe décisive" program were welcomed at the Pullman Hotel - Paris la Défense.

With the hotel sector experiencing a very difficult context during this period, young people from the Paris region were able to discover the hotel's behind-the-scenes and meet the establishment's professionals. 

What's the goal of the day? To discover in more detail the different jobs in the sector and to get acquainted with the professional world. 

Throughout the day, they had the opportunity to discover a dozen professions and were able to question the various speakers, all of whom were passionate and enthusiastic about the idea of sharing their experiences. 

The young people put themselves in the shoes of hotel guests to discover the different services and jobs with the hotel reception, where customer relations are paramount. Then, the Technical and Safety Department, where the challenge is to ensure the faultless operation of the equipment. They then discovered the rooms and thus the floor service, which must be rigorous, organised and efficient. 

Finally, the group stopped off in the kitchens to meet a party chef and the Pastry Chef.

It was a very rewarding day, which allowed the young people to exchange and take advice from professionals.
