Home Blog Home The Jogg dans la ville solidarity race organized by Sport dans la Ville adapted in 100% connected
(Finally) Meaningful team-building
Jogg dans la Ville, the inter-company solidarity race organized for more than 6 years in favor of the young people of Sport dans la Ville, the main association for integration through sport in France, has been turned upside down this year to meet the health restrictions.
However, it was able to take place, from March 26 to 28, in a 100% connected version, thanks to the support of Sport Heroes, publisher of SaaS solutions and specialist in the engagement of communities through sport, via United Heroes, the application dedicated to corporate well-being.
"We are delighted that our application has enabled the digitisation of Jogg dans la Ville's flagship event. Our solution, which encourages all athletes regardless of their level, perfectly reflects the Association's values of inclusiveness Sport dans la Ville.
Paul-Emile Saab, CEO of Sport Heroes
All participating companies gathered their employees in teams of 6. Two courses were proposed: 6 or 10km and each kilometer covered via the United Heroes application was counted. Employees were able to run the race of their choice, regardless of their location, and experience the excitement of the competition through live individual and team rankings. All employees, regardless of their level of sport, were able to participate in this fun and friendly event.
A race to support the social and professional integration of 7;000 young people
This race raised funds to develop professional integration programs for young people from low income neighborhoods supported by the Association Sport dans la Ville. Each company's participation is equivalent to a donation made to the association.
Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville is active in 46 disadvantaged neighbourhoods in France. Through its programs and actions, Sport dans la Ville aims to pass on to each young person the values of self-confidence, commitment, teamwork and entrepreneurship, in order to accompany them on the road to success. More than 7,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 25 are supported each year by the Association.
“ After a complicated year 2020 in terms of events for Sport dans la Ville, we are delighted to offer our historic race Jogg dans la Ville in a connected version. By relying on the expertise of Sport Heroes, we have been able to innovate while retaining the DNA of this solidarity race, which allows companies and all their employees to commit to supporting the future of young people supported by the Association. Once again, we would like to warmly thank all our partners who are mobilizing for the professional integration of young people in this crucial period. ” Philippe Oddou, CEO of Sport dans la Ville
