Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main organization for social integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all of the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville today promote the social and professional integration of 10,000 young people registered with the association. The Organization is supported by companies and public partners (Ministries, Regions, Cities).
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
• Identify and enroll approximately 50 young people per year (outreach efforts, meetings with local stakeholders, drop-in sessions, etc.) • Provide individualized support to each young person through regular meetings (to empower the young person, define their action plan toward employment or training, work to remove barriers to integration in collaboration with local partners, etc.) • Ensure daily group activities for the cohort (job search techniques; company visits; organizing weekly sports sessions, workshops on driver’s education, budget management, mental health, etc.) by drawing on partners or facilitators as needed. • Handle reporting and administrative follow-up. • Serve as the program liaison with local partners (nonprofits, Missions Locales, France Travail, specialized prevention services, etc.) and ensure that identified individuals are registered with the employment network. • Actively contribute to theorganization activitiesorganization events and public appearances.
