Career guidance and integration officer (Centre Essonne) - permanent contract - based in Pantin

Background

 

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main association for social integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all of the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville today promote the social and professional integration of 10,000 young people registered with the association. The Association is supported by companies and public partners (Ministries, Regions, Cities).

 

Mission

Reporting to the Job dans la ville program's regional referent, you will ensure the deployment of career guidance and integration programs in the Ris-Orangis and Corbeil-Essonnes areas.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for :
Individual support and follow-up
- You will create links with young people from the area, particularly those who attend the sports sessions organized by the association, in order to build up and support a group of young people made up of secondary school pupils and students.
- You create links with families by going out to meet them.

- You ensure that young people take an active part in all the activities organized by the association, especially during school vacations.

 

Local partnership coordinator
- You create and maintain partnership relations with the key players in your area: local authorities, schools, local missions, France travail, social centers, neighborhood associations...
- As a territorial referent, you represent the association at key events organized in the area: public meetings, consultations, association and sports forums, various festivals, etc.

 

Pedagogical support
- You may be called upon to support the pedagogical manager in the deployment of actions related to the young people you accompany. To this end, you can run workshops on life skills, career discovery, internship searches and/or work-study schemes.
- You may also be asked to act as project coordinator for a season-long project on one of the Job dans la Ville program's specific themes.

 

As a Sport dans la Ville associate, you'll play an active role in the association's events and performances.

 

As part of your duties, you will work from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, and may be on call in the evenings. You will be based at the association's Pantin site in the Paris region, and will be expected to be present in your area at least on sports days, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Desired profile

• - With a minimum of 3 years of higher education in Education Sciences, Political Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, Integration or Project Management, you are enthusiastic about the idea of contributing to the success of young people.
• - You must hold a valid driving licence and, ideally, a BAFA diploma.
• - You are agile and like a challenge. Rigorous, you are at ease with digital and office automation tools.
