Background

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main association for social integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all of the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville today promote the social and professional integration of 10,000 young people registered with the association. The Association is supported by companies and public partners (Ministries, Regions, Cities).

 

 

Mission

​

Reporting to the Pays de Savoie division, you will act as the association's local contact, establishing a trusting working relationship with local players, young people and their families.

You will be in charge of the various sports centers in the Chambéry metropolitan area (soccer, basketball), and as such your main tasks will be : 

 

•  - Manage and run sports centers (manage sports educators, ensure attendance and and attendance)
• - Be present and active in the preparation and organization of sporting events and tournaments
• - Create and maintain links with the integration program Job dans la Ville
• - You are also responsible for developing programs to support schooling (Success in the City) and the feminization of the sport (L dans la Ville)

 

 

 

Desired profile

• •  - You know the Chambéry area inside out.
  • - You have a first experience in team management experience.
  • - You are recognized for your ability to relate to young people and your ability to manage a group.
  • - You are available from Tuesday to Saturday.
  • - You have a driving license and BAFA.
