Award Ceremony Entrepreneurs dans la Ville 2017

At the beginning of July, Entrepreneurs dans la Ville honored the Class of 2017 at an awards ceremony, after an intense 4-month training at emlyon business school. The 25 participants in the program pitched their project before the prize-giving ceremony at Groupama Rhône-Alpes Auvergne.

July 5th was a special day for the 25 entrepreneurs of the Class of 2017: as the training period at emlyon business school was coming to an end, each of the candidates presented their project and business plan before a jury composed of the teams of Sport dans la Ville, emlyon teachers, professionals, public and private partners and alumni of the program.

The prize-giving ceremony took place the same evening on the premises of our partner Groupama Rhône-Alpes Auvergne. 150 people came to support and applaud the 2017 Promotion, which made its mark through its collective spirit, cohesion and desire to succeed.

Michel Coster, Director of the Emlyon Incubator and Nicolas Eschermann, President of Sport dans la Ville, welcomed the participants and reminded them that " entrepreneurship and innovation are values that restore confidence". Gautier Cassagnau, President of Geolid and Honorary Sponsor of the Promotion, explained the societal dimension of his commitment and Geolid's commitment to entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur was presented with a certificate of training by Bernard Belletante, Managing Director of emlyon business school and Amel Hafid, Deputy Prefect of the Rhône.

The emotion and spontaneity of the four prizewinners, as well as the strong cohesion of the Class of 2017 made this evening a moving moment. Congratulations to all of them and in particular to :
