As the end of the year approaches, it is an opportunity to take stock of the actions carried out during these 12 months. A look back at the key events of 2019. The opening of new sports centers

With the objective of opening 4 to 5 sports centers by 2024, we have met our commitments in 2019 with :

  1. La Ricamarie (42)

These new centers are spaces of animation and development for young people aged 6 to 22, who will be able to participate free of charge every Wednesday and Saturday in soccer, basketball or tennis sessions supervised by professional sports coaches , employees of the Association.

10 years of #LdansLaVille

We celebrated the 10th anniversary of L dans la Ville, a program that accompanies the girls of the Association in their personal emancipation and professional integration. This beautiful day took place on our campus in Lyon on the occasion of the Women's Soccer World Cup.

A promotion of Entrepreneurs in the Paris Region

After supporting 250 entrepreneurs and the creation of more than 150 companies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the program was launched in Ile-de-France on 25 February 2019.

17 new entrepreneurs have made their debut on the Paris campus of emlyon business school.

In 2020, the Entrepreneurs dans la Ville program will be entering a new phase, with the launch of 5 new promotions in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Saint Etienne and Lille.

A united and international sporting event

350 young people came from all over the world for a week of sports and cultural meetings in Lyon from 29 June to 8 July 2019. This event was an opportunity for young people aged 15 to 17 from disadvantaged neighborhoods to see that soccer is a vehicle for integration, peace and equality.

Associated with the Women's World Cup, Festival 19 gave young people from all over the world the opportunity to live an extraordinary experience around the values of sport and to exchange good practices.

Winning calls for projects

Invested for more than 20 years in supporting the training and employment of young people from low income neighborhoods of the Community Policy of the State, Sport dans la Ville has recently received the label and support of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion to deploy its actions on a larger scale.

This allows young people who are far from employment to get back into a new dynamic of professional project and to build a better future.

Charity evenings

These events brought together more than a hundred companies around the success stories of the Association's young people, but also development objectives linked to the Social Legacy project for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Thanks to the generous support and the mobilizing energy of the companies and partners present, the Organization wishes to make possible the creation of a holiday and training centre for the 8,000 young people supported each year.

See you in 2020 for a new year just as full of events!
