Corporate But-en-Or Tournament - Paris 2015

For the 64 teams, the date had been on the agenda for a long time: Sunday 31 May, But-en-Or Tournament in Clairefontaine! For its part, the Ile-de-France branch of Sport dans la Ville has also been preparing intensely for the event over the last few months. Here's a look back at an exceptional day.

Every year at the gates of summer, the But-en-Or Tournaments organized for the benefit of Sport dans la Ville are strong sporting events, which take place in Lyon and Paris. These charity tournaments are also times of exchange and conviviality between the Association's partner teams.

The 2015 Parisian Charity Tournament took place in an emblematic place of French soccer, where the greatest soccer fans have perfected their technique: Clairefontaine!

7:45 am: The teams arrive, some players still have small eyes, quickly wide open once on site. The fans also arrive little by little, determined to support their team until the end!

8h-8h30 : Breakfast, and presentation of the day. The coffee definitely wakes up the 520 players.

8:45 am: After a change of locker rooms, 1040 spiked shoes now tread the Clairefontaine lawn with a collective warm-up with vitamins.

9am: Cards in the pocket, whistles in the mouth, the referees kick off the first games of the 10 pools of the tournament.

12h: The teams will take turns at lunch, a well deserved rest after a crazy morning.

2pm: Small collective warm-up before resuming the afternoon games, and here we go again!

16h40: Small final for the 3rd place, obtained by BT (pronounced BiTi) against Free!

5pm: Grand final of this 2015 But-en-Or Tournament, the two teams that competed to lift the cup were Vivendi Universal and Stef Transport Athis. The latter were strong opponents, since they won the tournament last year! At the end of a committed match, it was finally Vivendi who won 1-0 on the Clairefontaine pitch!

The awards ceremony took place a few minutes later, followed by the screening of the film of the day, punctuated by a cocktail.

A huge thank you to all the partner teams at Sport dans la Ville for their support, to the volunteers for their precious help, and to the whole Clairefontaine team for their incredible collaboration!
