This Sunday, at the Domaine de Luchin, the very first edition of the charity soccer tournament took place in the Hauts-de-France. 20 companies were present for this superb event!
After 16 editions in Lyon, and 14 in Paris, the charity soccer tournament arrives for the first time in the north of France. Established in Roubaix since September 2017, Sport dans la Ville is delighted to have been able to launch this inter-company tournament, hosted at the LOSC training centre .
From 8am, Sunday June 3rd, 20 teams of 8 players, all super motivated, arrived at Domaine de Luchin. Accompanied by the girls from the L dans la Ville program, the association's dance teacher took charge of the players' warm-up. The matches started at 9am, for a more than sporting morning.
The 20 teams competed in the 4 pools for the qualifying matches in the morning. At noon, all the teams met for lunch. A real moment of conviviality but above all a time of rest much awaited by the sportsmen!
At 2pm, after a quick warm-up, the games quickly resumed. Finally, it was at 4pm, before the final, that the girls of the L en Scène sessions put on a dance show. The long-awaited final finally took place, and it was GFI Informatique that won against Humanis!
All day long, the tournament participants were able to enjoy the entertainment village, sponsored by Dartagnan. On the program, table football, goal-shooting workshop and bouncy castle! In addition, the Soccer team offered an introduction to human table soccer, as well as a motor skills course. Finally, the HDF Football League offered participants an awareness of refereeing.
Charlotte Ackou, speaker for the LOSC but also director of the So Pep's Agency animated this beautiful day with brilliance. Corporate collaborators, volunteers, children from the field and their families, there were a lot of people for this great event!
