A second field for Sarcelles!

It is in the Vignes-blanches district in Sarcelles, that the inauguration of a new sports centre took place this Saturday, October 17, with a soccer field "But en Or", a basketball field "Défense de Zone" and a work-out area (weight training).

Sport dans la Ville now has two sports centres in Sarcelles, a godsend for young people in this town of nearly 60,000 inhabitants, located north of Paris. Early in the morning, the young people of Sarcelles were already on the brand new fields, and there is talent among the basketball players!

The official ceremony began with Quentin Moreno, Director of Sport dans la Ville Ile-de-France region, who then introduced the teams: the Head of Insertion Sonny, as well as Anis, Anthony and Lyndsey, the educators in charge of the field. Then, Mr. Pupponi, Deputy Mayor of Sarcelles, recalled the importance of the municipality's support for Sport dans la Ville and the need to revitalize such a district.

The day then continued with the ribbon cutting, the wine of honour and the setting up of the soccer and basketball tournaments.
