On Wednesday 31 January, the Job dans la Ville 2018 ceremony in Lyon and Saint-Etienne concluded the launch of the three promotions of the professional integration programme Job dans la Ville.
Third and final more than successful ceremony for the program Job dans la Ville ! After the launch of the Ile-de-France, Grenoble and Chambéry promotions, it was the turn of the Lyon and Saint-Etienne jobbearer promotions to get together.
For the occasion, emlyonbusiness school opened its doors to the teams of Sport dans la Ville, to our partner companies, to the mentors, but above all to the many young people who gathered for this beautiful evening.
This year, Matthieu Leclercq, the president of Decathlon, is the honorary mentor of the 2018 class. At the end of the day, this Wednesday, Matthieu Leclercq devoted some of his time to the young jobbers. About fifteen young people, all from the Job dans la Ville program, had the chance to meet and discuss for more than an hour with the president of the Decathlon sign. A more than enriching meeting, during which the jobbers were able to tell their story, their dream, and share a beautiful moment all together.
On stage, for more than an hour, there were many testimonies. Bernard Belletante, Managing Director of emlyonbusiness school, opened the ceremony. Samir Belkadi, who joined the Decathlon teams thanks to the Job dans la Ville program, and Martin Angoh, jobbeur, animated this exceptional evening with seriousness and humour. In a few figures, they explained to everyone present in the school's large amphitheatre the evolution of the Job dans la Ville programme over the last few years, and its successes in terms ofprofessional integration for the association's young people.
Gaspard Lathoud, director of professional integration programs, spoke about the entrepreneurial spirit instilled in young people as soon as they arrive on the association's premises. Then Mikaël Kemeny, regional director of Sport dans la Ville raised the issue of digital technology for the association's young people in their professional integration.
The jobbers were at the heart of this ceremony and also had the opportunity to testify about their experiences within the program. Taycir insisted on the importance of mentoring in his professional career. In front of the assembly, she asked some questions to Christophe Laurent, manager of the Decathlon store in Ecully but above all godfather of a young jobber.
The ceremony ended with the words of the Director General and Co-Founder of the association, Philippe Oddou, and the testimony of the honorary mentor of the Job dans la Ville 2018 class, Matthieu Leclercq.
To conclude this beautiful evening, jobbers, mentors, our partner companies present and the teams of Sport dans la Ville gathered around a cocktail, in a joyful and good mood.
