Girls, tennis and meetings at Roland Garros

As part of the Balle de Match program, 22 girls from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Ile-de-France region had the chance to go to Paris for the weekend to take part in the Roland Garros Children's Day.

The Balle de match program allows the girls of the association to get together to participate in tennis lessons throughout the year. 22 girls in the program have been rewarded for their attendance and good behaviour during the sessions.

On Saturday 26 May, 22 young girls from the L dans la Ville program arrived in Paris for a wonderful weekend. They were able to participate in the Children's Day at Roland Garros. The girls had the chance to see great tennis players, such as Raphaël Nadal or Novak Djokovic , who played against handitennis players in particular. A superb moment animated by the humorist Claudia Tagbo!

In a second step, the girls were able to enjoy a demonstration of handitennis. The day ended with a superb match. Nathalie Dechy, French tennis player and involved in the organisation of the Roland Garros tournament, came to meet the girls to exchange with her.
