Seven young girls from the L dans la Ville program gathered for three months to shoot a report on how sport can be used as an emancipation tool. Aged 15 to 18, these young girls come from Paris' suburbs (Sarcelles, Saint-Denis and Drancy).
The report tells the story of these young girls and how they used sport to assert themselves and gain confidence. This report allowed them to meet Fanny-Estelle Postvite, member of the French national judo team to discuss how women are perceived in sports.
"This project matters to us because it helps the girls in two ways: first it enlightens what we do in our L dans la Ville program but it also helps these girls having a first experience in project management and teamwork."
