The power of happy memory

More than 45% of French people never go on holiday. This is unfortunately the case for most of the young people at Sport dans la Ville. To remedy this, the Association wishes to offer all the young people it accompanies a holiday and training center at Poët Laval (Drôme). Restoring equal opportunities

Not to go on holiday is to be deprived of moments that recharge your batteries, moments that open your eyes to other possibilities or that allow for encounters that make you grow.

Moments that are indispensable for the personal and educational development of each young person that Sport dans la Ville accompanies throughout the year.

Through the creation of the holiday and training center project, the Association's ambition is to offer an exceptional place to live and learn. Sports practice, discovery of nature, development of a permaculture project, training in the professions of hospitality, entertainment, hotel and catering, organization of international stays, will be at the heart of this innovative project.

On the road to employment

This unique place will also be an essential space for the training and preparation for employment of the many young people enrolled in the Job dans la Ville and Entrepreneurs dans la VIlle programs. Indeed, professionalizing actions will be proposed in connection with the network of partner companies of the Association. The areas concerned will be :

  • Animation and sport professions
  • The professions of the reception, hotel and catering industry
  • The organization of boot camps for young people who have dropped out of school.
  • The organization of stays dedicated to the accompaniment and coaching of young participants in the program Entrepreneurs dans la Ville.

With the aim of welcoming 800 young people from the Association by 2023, this holiday and training center in Drôme Provençale aims to be a place for all possibilities, in the image of the programs run by Sport dans la Ville for more than 20 years.
