Launch of the 5th edition of the Prix du Petit Libraire for the Apprenti'Bus

On Thursday 26 October, the children of the Apprenti'Bus took part in the launch of the Prix du Petit Libraire 2018 and discovered the books shortlisted by the Decitre Fund on this occasion.

For the past 5 years, the children of the Apprenti'Bus have taken part in the annual Prix du Petit Libraire in partnership with the Decitre Fund. For about twenty children in the program, it is a question of reading and voting for the book they like the most, among a selection of books made by the Decitre Fund. On Thursday 26 October, 19 children from Villeurbanne, Lyon-Duchère and Rillieux-la-Pape (69) visited the Campus of Sport dans la Ville to launch the 5th edition of the Prize.

The children will have the chance to read 5 books throughout the year, chosen by Decitre Fund volunteers around sport . The 5 books shortlisted for the Little Bookstore Award are as follows:
-Le rebond de Jo, d'Astrid Guyart et Olivier Loyen
- Philo leads the dance, by Séverine Vidal and Mayana Itoïz.
- Passe à beau !, by Yvan Pommaux and Rémi Chaurand
- Running with the wings of a giant, by Hélène Montardre and Yann Tisseron
- The school cross country, by Jean Tevelis and Benjamin Bachelier

During the sessions of the Prix du Petit Libraire, children will discover the techniques of literary criticism and especially the taste for reading. At the end of the year, they will be able to choose their favourite book, and will have the chance to meet its author and discuss the profession of writer, writing and reading.

Sport dans la Ville would like to thank the Decitre Fund and its entire team for their involvement in the Prix du Petit Libraire.

For Siham, it was difficult to choose the book she would read first among the 5 proposed books.
