Background

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main association for integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville now promote the social and professional integration of 7,000 young people who are members of the association. The Association is supported by companies and public funding (Ministries, Regions, Cities).

Mission

You will be responsible for the launch and deployment of a new support program for young people who have dropped out of school. Your objective is to source, remobilise and support young people in defining and implementing their professional or training project. You will be their contact person and the pivot of the links with all the actors who will act in their remobilisation process.

In this capacity, your main tasks will be to

• Constitute successive promotions of young people to be accompanied, and lead the group dynamics throughout the period of deployment (several weeks)
  • Conducting fieldwork to identify young people for inclusion in the project
  • To set up and follow up partnerships with local structures in the territories where Sport dans la Ville intervenes in order to source young people corresponding to the criteria for support
  • To create the collective dynamic of the class and maintain it over time. Ensure the mobilisation of young people in each of the actions
  • To ensure the progress of the group and the respect of the defined operating framework

• To be the referent of the operational deployment of the project throughout the support
• To set up the calendar of actions within the defined educational framework and to be a force of proposal on the adjustments to be made
• Coordinate the various stakeholders and ensure that their interventions are in line with the defined needs and the public
• In particular, ensure that the sports activities implemented meet the expectations of developing socio-professional skills
• Supervising activities organised in conjunction with external partners (company visits, outings, events).
• Establish and develop a close and lasting relationship with partner structures in the follow-up of young people who have dropped out of school 
  • Carry out the expected reporting (follow-up of young people, participation in activities, removal of obstacles, etc.)

• Supporting young people who have dropped out of school and are integrated into the program
• To create a relationship of trust with each young person and to ensure that he or she gains competence by taking stock of the situation with the various parties involved
• To provide qualitative individual support to the young people integrated, in particular on the subjects of removing obstacles to employment, defining a professional project and preparing its implementation
• To be the guarantor of the young people's investment, of the coherence of their project
• Linking with job/training opportunities identified by the association or its partners
• Supporting young people until they have consolidated their effective exit into employment or training

• Project and associative investment

• Part-time member of the "Passe Décisive" program, dedicated to young people who are far from employment. In this capacity, you may be required to pilot or co-pilot one of the programme's cross-cutting projects. You may also be asked, as required, to take on other one-off assignments to help a member of your team.
• Contribute to the success of the association's flagship events
• Participate in the association's events.
