Background

 

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville is the main association for integration through sport in France. Its mission is to to offer a springboard for young people by accompanying them in their education, their orientation and their entry into working life. Sport dans la Ville It reaches out to young people in school, studying, looking for work and young people who are far from employment. Sport dans la Ville is also a partner of Paris 2024 and strongly involved in projects related to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The aim of this post is to get young dropouts from the underserved neighborhoods which are concerned by the Community Policy of the State into employment or training, by deploying a system of intensive support intensive support system strongly rooted in sport.

Mission

 

  • Reporting to the Head of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (AURA) dropout programme, you will ensure the deployment of the program throughout the Lyon metropolitan area by developing and leading the network of young "dropouts" seeking training and/or Employment.

     

    In this capacity, your tasks will be :

     

    - Sourcing of young people to be supported and setting up and leading a group of drop-outs:


    o With the support of the territorial Professionnal Development Coaches sports educators and your manager

    you will identify young people and accompany them towards a "re-engagement" in the territories of the Lyon metropolis
    o You will set up and monitor partnerships with local structures in the territories on

    in which Sport dans la Ville intervenes in order to source young people corresponding to the criteria criteria for support
    o You participate fully in the experimentation of a new support system for

    young people, far from training and employment, towards sustainable employment.

     

    - Pedagogy ; Job search techniques & expert network facilitation:


    o Ensuring that young people who have dropped out of school are given the opportunity to develop their skills as part of their search for a solution by creating a dedicated educational program.o At the very least, organise and/or run ERT workshops (CVs; cover letters; work work experience; internship searches; self-confidence self-confidence, job search job search; etc)
    o Before each employment event, prepare young people
    o Leadr the network of experts by organising qualitative workshops
    o Coordinate SAS actions, preparing the organisation and holding of the latter.
    o To monitor and ensure the mobilisation of young people in each of these actions
    o Ensure that sports activities are included as regularly as possible in the actions proposed, as a means of improving as a tool for improving the life skills of the young people being monitored.
    o To be responsible for the reflection, organisation and implementation of educational measures.

     

    - Support for young people who have dropped out of school:

     

    o Ensure individual and qualitative individual and qualitative of a group of young people who have dropped out of school. o Ensure the mobilisation of this public in each of the targeted collective actions
    o Carry out regular reporting on young people using using the tools identified.
    o Ensure a recurrent update on the needs and job searches of these of these young people

    - Employment events " Sport dans la Ville " and employment partnership actions " partners " :


    o You set up employment events within sport dans la Ville or within the organisation

    visits to companies with the aim of recruiting young people
    o Vou set up, with the help of the Employment Officer and the and the Private Partnerships Manager a

    pool of companies aware of the public and able to take on young dropouts on work placements or

    in employment.
    o You are able to pre-qualify candidates according too You are able to ensure a pre-qualification of candidates according to the offers

    o You are responsible for the pre-selection and mobilisation of candidates for employment actions.for employment actions with specific partners obtained

     

    - Project and associative investment :


    o You are a full member of the Decisive Pass program. As such, you can be

Desired profile

TRAINING / EXPERIENCE : 

 

o You have a minimum 3 years of higher education in HR, professional insertion;
o If not If not, you must have successful and significant experience in the following fields: sports, health, education, etc.

youth work and/or vocational integration ;

o A valid driving licence is required.

o English language skills are a plus but not essential
o Operational experience with young people far from employment is required
