Presentation of the Prix du Petit Libraire 2017 for the Apprentice'Bus

After several playful sessions, discovering literary criticism, the 20 children of the Apprenti'Bus de Lyon Vaise, Rillieux-la-Pape and Bron (69) awarded the Prix du Petit Libraire to Fabrice Colin, for his book "Des frères en finale".

Organized for the fourth consecutive year, the Prix du Petit Libraire allows 20 children from the Apprenti'Bus to discover reading through literary criticism. The objective? To vote for their favourite book, among a selection of 5 books, carefully chosen by the teams of the Decitre Fund, partner of the project.

At the launch of the prize last November, the children discovered the five books shortlisted for the prize. Throughout the year, they read each book assiduously, learning the techniques of literary criticism, to finally win "Des frères en finale" by Fabrice Colin, a story that follows the adventures of three brothers on the eve of the Euro soccer tournament!

Welcomed at the Parc OL, the children of the Apprenti'Bus, as well as the children of the OL training centre, rewarded Fabrice Colin, on the occasion of a rich exchange with the author. Camille Abily, a player at Olympique Lyonnais and sponsor of the Prix du Petit Libraire, encouraged the children to continue their reading and congratulated the author on his prize.

See you next year for the 5th edition of the Prize!
