Jogg dans la Ville, a race for charity !

Sport dans la Ville welcomed, on Sunday 25th March, more than 300 runners collaborating with companies that are partners of the association, on the occasion of the third edition of the Jogg dans la Ville charity race at Groupama Stadium.

In order to federate its partners around a sporting and convivial event, the Sport dans la Ville association organised the 3rd edition of its charity race Jogg dans la Ville on 25th March at Groupama Stadium. Hosted for the second consecutive year by Olympique Lyonnais, the top start of the charity race was launched at the entrance to the stadium and the runners were able to cross the finish line along the Groupama Stadium lawn, after a 6 or 10km course in the Décines and Meyzieu countryside.

This race, which took place in an immense spirit of conviviality, was an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment to equal opportunities for young people in disadvantaged neighborhoods. It was also a real opportunity to unite their employees and create team cohesion around their social commitment.

The benefits of the race will be used to develop the programs of the Sport dans laVille association, which is now working to restore equal opportunities by promoting the personal development and integration of young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods. 6,500 young people between the ages of 6 and 25 currently benefit from the association's various programs.

Youth in the program Job dans la VilleThe association's beneficiaries also mobilised to take part in this charity event: 55 young people made themselves available to each welcome a dedicated team of runners. Encouragement at the finish, participation in the race, team photos, etc., the young people greatly contributed to the success of the event and were able to meet company employees in a sporting and friendly context, conducive to exchange and encounters.

Jogg dans la Ville is a unique opportunity to bring together economic players from the Lyon region around our project in a sporting and festive setting. It's a pleasure to meet some of our partners in shorts, alongside our teams from the Job dans la Ville programme, and to strengthen the links with them during a charity race.
