Focus on young referees L dans la Ville

4 girls from the L dans la Ville program became official referees. 4 young girls from the L dans la Ville program have started training as official referees in order to develop a gender mix on soccer pitches. This training was an opportunity to give them leadership and responsibility and to introduce them to refereeing, a world with very few women (-5%).

The training took place from 24 to 26 April at Andrézieux Bouthéon in partnership with the Ligue Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. Several stages were organized to select the girls according to the prerequisites and expectations related to refereeing.

As this training requires time and motivation but above all a personal commitment throughout the year, running tests have been set up to evaluate their physical capacities and motivation. Eight girls took the tests.

This training brought together 27 young girls from the region. The girls of the association thus represented nearly 20% of the girls of the training in the region.

It is with pride that we present the first 4 girls in the history of Sport dans la Ville who have obtained the soccer referee diploma!
