Our mission? To offer young people a unique and transforming international experience, around the keys to equality and excellence instilled by the 2024 Olympic Games!
In the context of the #Paris2024 Olympic Games, young beneficiaries oforganization were able to meet their peers from the four corners of the world to practice sports.
The event provided an opportunity to discover various Olympic and Paralympic sports , as well as cultural enrichment with visits to a number of emblematic sites in Lyon and Paris.
To facilitate encounters, a number of events were organized for participants and partners to share and exchange ideas.cultural evenings, and a conference on inclusion through sport (United by Sports Forum).
72 young coaches aged between 18 and 25 from 35 different countries arrived in Lyon. 🚶♀️🏃
Young leaders were trained in inclusive coaching techniques through workshops on inclusion and gender equality on the Lyon Campus. 📝
The young coaches discovered the Vieux Lyon district and the rooftops of the Basilique de Fourvière at sunset. 🚋
The 64 delegations of 6 young people and 1 adult arrived in Lyon at the Campus de Vaise. 🌍
The 500 young people were welcomed to the Sport Dans La Ville Vaise Campus. 😄
The Festival kicked off with a parade of flags, a Festival oath and some nice surprises on the Vaise Campus. 🎉
The young people were divided into mixed teams and took part in cohesion and creative workshops on the Vaise Campus. 🤗
Festival-goers, young people's families and Sport dans la Ville partners attended Mourad Merzouki's Beauséjour at Lyon-Fourvière's Théâtre Gallo-Romain. 🎭
The young people took part in various Olympic and Paralympic activities at the Vaise Campus. 🤾♀️🤸
Participants discovered the city of Lyon, its monuments and its history. 📜
Delegations were able to share their culture through live performances of song, dance or any other form of artistic expression at the Vaise Campus. 🎤
Buses brought all the festival-goers to Paris. 🚌
Festival-goers set up on the Festival site, in the activity center at Jambville. 🏙
Festival partners, delegations and representatives from the worlds of sport, politics and business came together to highlight the social impact of sport at the Jardin d'Acclimatation. 🗣
The youngsters explored the Jardin d'Acclimatation through a treasure hunt, while enjoying the park and its many rides. 🌱🎡
The delegations shared their cultures through stage performances of song, dance or any other form of expression at the Jambville activity center. 👯
Festival-goers were able to discover Paris, its rich heritage and iconic landmarks.
Participants enjoyed an unforgettable evening on the banks of the Seine and watched their countries' athletes parade past. 🕯
The youngsters immersed themselves in the values of the JOP by taking part in various Olympic and Paralympic activities at the Jambville activity center. 🏰🏇
The Festival came to a close with colorful and emotional activities presented by the delegations. An unforgettable evening!😄
The 64 delegations returned to their home countries. 👋
