Background

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main France’s leading organization for integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville now promote the social and professional integration of 7,000 young people who are members of the organization. The Organization is supported by companies and public funding (Ministries, Regions, Cities).

Mission

 

Working in tandem with an educator, your tasks are as follows:

 

• - Run mixed soccer sessions and pass on the values of social skills and diligence that are essential to young people's success.
• - Monitor attendance and ensure that sessions are well attended
• - Provide session content in conjunction with the team, enabling young people to make progress in their behavior (managing emotions, opening up young people to other actions, mutual aid/solidarity attitude).
• - Maintain an educational and caring attitude in all circumstances (listening, conflict management, etc.).
• - Offer and manage events (partner soccer matches, tournaments, introductory courses, etc.).
• - Management of relationships with certain families (individual meetings, family/youth events, etc.).

Desired profile

• - Dynamic, rigorous, respectful and caring, you know how to respect your commitments.
• - Desired experience in coaching and leading a sport such as soccer
• - Recognized for your interpersonal skills with young people and your ability to manage a group, you would like to make your contribution to an associative and social project, as well as being an ambassador for theorganization.
• - STAPS degree / Brevet d'état / BPJEPS APT or Sports Collectifs
• - Hourly pay according to diploma and experience
