Site Manager / Sports Instructor based in Chambéry

Background

Created in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has become the main France’s leading organization for integration through sport in France. Sport dans la Ville is a successful example of social entrepreneurship: all the programs set up by Sport dans la Ville now promote the social and professional integration of 7,000 young people who are members of the organization. The Organization is supported by companies and public funding (Ministries, Regions, Cities).

Mission

 

Working in tandem with an educator, your tasks are as follows:

 

• Leading mixed-gender soccer (and/or multisport) sessions and instilling the values ofand dedication essential to young people’s success

 

• Track attendance and ensure that sessions are well attended

 

• Provide session content relevant to the team, enabling the young people to progress in their

 

behavior (emotional regulation, young people’s openness to other activities, willingness to help others)

 

• Maintain a supportive and caring attitude in all circumstances (active listening, conflict resolution, etc.)

 

• Organize and supervise theorganization ’s eventsorganization sports tournaments, introductory sessions, etc.

 

• Manage and maintain good relationships with the families of enrolled youth (individual meetings,

 

(family and youth events, etc.) and all local stakeholders

Desired profile

• Dynamic , thorough, respectful, and considerate, you are committed to fulfilling your obligations

• • Experience in coaching and leading a sport such as soccer, basketball, or others is preferred
• • Known for your rapport with young people and your ability to lead a group, you want to contribute to a community and social project, as well as serve as an ambassador fororganization
• • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science / State Certification / BPJEPS APT or Team Sports
• • A youth leadership certification is a plus (such as BAFA/BAFD or equivalent)
• - B license
• • Hourly pay based on qualifications and experience
