On Saturday 14 April, the Lyon-based Sports Commentators project took to the road in the direction of Paris. A week rich in soccer for these young sportsmen.
As part of the project Sports Commentators19 young people from Lyon went to Paris for 5 days. The aim of this stay was to attend two shows, visit sports media and meet the major players in sports journalism.
To celebrate their arrival in the capital, the Lyon inhabitants met the Parisians from the Sports Commentators program. Both groups enjoyed a very sporting afternoon during a soccer tournament.
On Sunday, two unmissable events awaited the young apprentice journalists. Early in the morning, the people of Lyon went to the set of Telefoot to attend the show. During this week, they also had the chance to visit the set and meet the show's professionals.
In the evening, the young people from Ile-de-France joined them to attend the show. Canal Football Club and Canal Rugby Club.
Then, Monday, it's at The Team that 11 people from Lyon spent part of the day. On the program, visit of the department and archives, but especially photo workshops with the advice of a photographer from the Team. The day ended with a visit to the capital. Meanwhile, the other group of young people visited the Stade de France.
The next day, the young people from Lyon went to the premises of TF1. After a visit to the TV studios, the young sports commentators were able to talk to many of the channel's journalists, including Christian Jeanpierre and Grégoire Margotton, commentators on the French national team matches. A great opportunity to discover the job of sports journalist!
Finally, the last day of the stay was an opportunity to go to BeIN Sports. So the young commentators were able to comment on the last OM-OL match in the booth, like real pros!
In Paris, the Sports Commentators project is very recent, it was launched for the first time this year! Back to theArrival of Sports Commentators in Ile-de-France !
